We
are a member of NARHA, North American Riding
for the Handicapped, and Lisa is a certified instructor. Although the minis keep
us busy at the farm, she still takes time to teach on occasion at another center
for therapeutic riding. We believe in Equine-assisted horse therapy, and have
used it with members of our own family.
We
belong to the American Paint Horse Association.
Lisa and Lindsay love to show and ride our "big" paint horses. These
big guys love the little minis too!
We
support the local 4-H organization. There is
a club that meets at the farm. "Horse Lovers" is a great group of kids
who love to learn about their horses and serve the community in various ways.
This is a second-generation club, as Lisa was a horse 4-H member years ago.
